Sir Bath Hotel Westminster May 29. 1785.

I have written to Day to Messieurs Willinks Van Staphorsts and De la Lande & Fynje of Amsterdam to pack up and ship to me in London whatever belongs to me. You will please to deliver to the Persons employed by them, all my Effects and assist them in packing them. When your year is out those Gentlemen will pay you, your due, and charge it to the United States you will continue to live in the House and take care of it. I shall recommend you to my successor, to be continued in the service, because I am perfectly satisfied with your Conduct, and am persuaded my successor, will find no Man, more useful to him

Your humble servant
