John Adams to the Marquis of Carmarthen

Bath Hotel June. 17. 1785.

Mr Adams presents his Compliments to the Right Honourable the Marquis of Carmarthen, and begs leave to acquaint his Lordship, that having some Things in charge from the United States of America to communicate, he is desirous of the Honour of a Conference, which he requests his Lordship to appoint at any Time and Place, which may be the least inconvenient to his Lordship.
