I have the Honor to send you inclosed a Copy of the Orders which have been sent to the Commissioners of the Customs, by the Lords of the Treasury, relative to the transhipping of Doctor Franklin’s Effects from the Vessel bringing him from Havre to that which is to carry him to America, and I hope these Orders will be carried into Execution to his entire Satisfaction.
