Your favor of yesterday, communicating your intention to authorize Mr: DeWolf to value upon you, for the amount of the interest falling due the first of December ensuing, upon the Loan of the United States at Antwerp, gave me sensible satisfaction, both as it promises the speedy payment of the Bill, on Messrs: Dallarde Swan &C; for 120.000 Dollars, in specie, and as it obviates the necessity of a recurrence to other than the usual sources, for the discharge of the Antwerp interest.
I shall not fail, Gentlemen, in conformity to your request, to communicate this intelligence to my Brother, in answer to his Letter of the 8 instt: having already done the same to Mr: DeWolf.
