John Quincy Adams to Thomas Boylston Adams

4 Jun. 1797

My dear Brother Amsterdam 4 June 1797.

You have here a letter for the Secretary of the Treasury to copy and enclose together with the latest commercial paper to Mr: Damen.

I shall at all events wait for the arrival of Mr: Murray, which cannot I think be delayed more than a week or ten days further. After that I shall as soon as possible embark for England.

I am going to Haerlem to dine with Mr: W. Willink. Tomorrow is an holiday nothing to be done. Tuesday and Wednesday, I hope will suffise to make my arrangements. Expect me back by the last of the week.
