From James Madison to Tench Coxe, 13 February 1806

Sir Department of State 13 Feby. 1806.

Having forwarded the originals and duplicates of the patents, in the names of Tead & Blackwell, to the Register of the land office west of Pearl River, he has returned them with the remarks contained in the enclosed letter. The patents and duplicates are therefore herewith returned. I have the honor to be, Sir, very respectfully Your most obed. Servt.
