I am personally acquainted with Doct James Man & know that for many years he has been a respectable practitioner of Physic & Surgery in Wrentham & several of the neighbouring Towns—Therefore conceive that due credit may with safety be paid to his recommendation of Doct Elias Hawes as Surgeon to the 5th: Regt in the permanent Army
