I do myself the honor, to inclose Copy of a Letter received from General Knox, dated the 19th. ulto. in answer to one from me, making certain enquiries, relative to the Claim of Silas Dinsmore late an Agent to the Cherokee Nation of Indians, already submitted to your consideration—
