I have received Mr. Wagners letter of the 17 & have read Mr. W Mathews’s application for the office of Marshall & Mr. Mc. Henry’s letter to you in favor of Mr. William Wilson. These papers I return inclosed together with the passport for the Ann Maria signed

with great esteem
