Mr. Jonathan Jackson delivered me the inclosed papers. Mr. Fitch’s letter I have never received. But the recommendations of Mr. Thatcher, Mr. Jackson and Mr Fitch are sufficient to satisfy me if you are satisfied, to make the appointment.
